Breakfast was served at the Harlamovs home with President Graham presiding 5 members present and two guests, Bob Quay, District Governor and his wife Carolyn.

Toast to Queen and Canada and the Office of the President of the United States.

Breakfast was enjoyed by all.

  • Business: Assistant Governor Maddy introduced Bob Quay, from the Columbia Center Club in Kennewick, Washington State, to speak. Bob brought greetings from Rotary International and district 5080. The theme this year is Rotary Connects the world.
  • Graham handed out theme pins on Bob’s behalf.
  • District Foundation Training is in Spokane on November 2nd
  • District Conference is May 15th to 17th in Kennewick with the theme of Human Trafficking.
  • RI President Mark Maloney wants to make Rotary more family friendly.
  • RYLA is a powerful leadership program. Bob made suggestions of how to get candidates by approaching employers
  • Road clean up Saturday October 19th meeting at Tim Horton’s instead of Gas bar.
  • Express Grants: No decision made yet.
  • Next meeting October 18th we have a speaker, Lana Rodlie, to talk about her new novel.
