Meeting was held at The Presbyterian church with President Graham presiding and 6 members present.
Toast to Queen and Canada
- Business:
- Juris reported that we have now sent the $500 we promised to Suzie’s sewing project.
- He wrote a cheque to Castlegar Rotary for their Togo water project that we passed in October. Maddy will mail it to them.
- Motion by Carol seconded by Juris that we donate $250 to the Ethiopia Water project sponsored by the Rossland club. Carried.
- 4 of us went to the Youth Centre on Thursday and looked at what they have in terms of equipment and asked the kids what sort of things they wanted to cook. Carol compiled a list.
- Discussion on the need for two accounts for such a small club. Maddy will check with the district.
- More discussion on the need for a budget. Viktor will provide us a budget next week with Juris input.
- Further discussion on eclub format and how to hold meetings online. Zoom starter pack costs $26 per month. do we want to consider investing in this for a year to try it with for example having two on line meetings a month.
- Next week, Dec 6th at the Bridgeview.
- Dec 14th our Christmas brunch at Rob Hawton’s place.
