Toast to Queen and Canada

• Business:
• We received an invitation to an International dinner fundraiser on Feb 6th from the Nelson Daybreak Rotary club. Maddy will forward to club members.
• Discussion on some sort of in club auction/gift exchange/fundraiser. the Trail club makes money from an auction at their Christmas party.
• Graham received and email from Sarah Groves Chair of the district Membership committee. We will forward it to Viktor who is our membership chair.
• Carol is to be treasurer when Juris is President.
• We looked over the completed application for an Express Grant for the cooking classes at the Trail Youth centre. Minor changes were suggested. Maddy will send it in this weekend.
• Reminder that we need to get criminal record checks done through TACL for the cooking classes.
• Maddy is proposing an Area Presidents meeting on Jan 25th at Kootenay Kebab.
• We received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Highways for being part of the adopt a Highway program.
• A discussion of an Eclub test on 17th or 24th of January. Viktor will be able to join us from his cruise ship and maybe John from Australia.
• The Greater Trail online Auction will be running in April. We need to start soliciting donations and sponsors.
• Next week’s meeting at the church.
