The meeting was held at the Bridgeview Café with President Graham presiding, 6 members present.
Toast to Queen and Canada
- Business:
- Graham attended the Trail club meeting where Koos and Mayumi Van Der Pohl gave a presentation about the efforts to get the Indus Peace Park established. They have got a commitment for 250 acres each in Pakistan and India along the border. Now it is getting it established.
- Juris said we are getting some traction on the website. Graham even left a comment, our first.
- Trail Rotary will apply for a grant to help with the cooking program.
- The Cooking program is going well. Carol is beginning to work on the report for it, due on 31st March
- We will have a joint installation meeting with Trail and Rossland probably at the Birchbank Golf Course
- Reminder that we have a social on March 21st more details to follow
- We need to start getting businesses for the GTRAC coming up April 13th to 22nd.
- May 14 to 17 is the District conference in Kennewick. Maddy is registered and is looking at booking some shared accommodation.
- Road Clean-up set for March 28th, 8am at Tim Horton’s
- Happy and sad bucks collected. Meeting adjourned at 8am
