• Business:
• Update on the Covid virus. The next few weeks are critical to slow the spread. Many businesses are closed. Those of us working are doing so from home. We are all staying home as much as we can.
• Welcome back to Viktor whose cruise was cut short. He and Elizabeth are in quarantine for 14 days.
• RI conference in Hawaii cancelled
• Road Clean-up cancelled after discussion.
• discussion on threads of Hope report. Is it too religious and what do we do about it? We will still support them for now.
• Rossland club is delivering groceries for people. do we want to do the same in our own communities? We will approach local stores individually.
• The district is holding goto and zoom meetings. Maddy will participate in one at 10am today as well as Lynn’s happy hour at 5 which everyone should have an invitation to. Maddy will be hosting a zoom meeting for Presidents and Presidents elect.
• Jan Morton sent us an email about a project at the community kitchen in Trail that needs cash. Maddy forwarded it to club members for voting on next week.
• Maddy is with BV foodbank. They are having trouble getting all the food items they are used to. there may be some food shortages coming.
• Next week is a zoom meeting again at 7.15. Juris will send an invite and a reminder the day before.
