• Business:
• Discussion on the hand sanitizer project. The small bottles hold 60ml so we have fewer bottles than we anticipated. All are filled now. Thanks to Carol, Juris, Maddy, Graham, Mary and Viktor. Discussion on how to distribute them and who to. Maddy will distribute 20 to the Beaver Valley Food bank. We need to know from Carol how many she thinks for the street nursing program.
• Discussion on masks to go with the hand sanitizer. Carol has the first delivery of 25 masks of the 50 we asked for from Homemade Masks for Home made Hero’s. Carol is making some and Maddy will attempt to make some.
• We want a picture for the Trail times together with a story. Weibing volunteered his son Sean to photoshop all of us into one photo. We need to take individual photos holding bottles and send to Weibing. Maddy will do a write up to go with it.
• May 16th is the virtual District Assembly. It is free but you need to register.
• Walla Walla Rotaract club is looking for very short video clips on how we survived covid.
• We have 5 Fridays in May so 5th should be a social. tentatively we scheduled Friday 29th evening as a social. The form it takes will depend on how and when social distancing starts to relax.
• Maddy will fill in Alan Davis’ online form for the covid grant. We received the grant monies but not deposited yet.
• Viktor will present next week on some ideas for us to consider from his travels.
• Maddy will set up the next meeting. Discussion on time. Consensus still at 7.15am. The meeting will not cut off at 7.50.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 7.55am
