The meeting was held online via Zoom with President Graham presiding, 6 members online. 2 guests Kimberly Pegg, with Masks for all Rossland, and Helen Graham from Trail Rotary.

  • Kimberley Pegg explained more about the Masks for All campaign. It has been very successful in Rossland. the demand for masks is increasing. It needs a champion. Kathy Moore, Rossland Mayor championed it together with Rossland Rotary who were able to accept money donations toward costs. It cost about $2.00 per mask, including all the printing costs. We are not set up to accept donations. It was suggested Trail United Way would be a good coordinator for this project. Kimberley will contact Naomie McKimmie who runs it and then get back to us.
  • May 29th meeting is cancelled in Lieu of the social.
  • Social will be at Harlamovs house outside as the weather is looking good for next week. Start at 5 and we can join the district happy hour at 5. Food at 6.30 to 7. We will order from Ruala Café in Fruitvale. Maddy will send out the menu a few days ahead and collect orders to be phoned in a day ahead.
  • Viktor will present at our meeting on June 5th about some ideas for us to consider from his travels.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 7.55am
