The meeting was held on zoom with 5 members present.

  • Happy New Year everyone
  • Business:
  • Maddy sent the new link for meetings. The same link will be used until June 2021.
  • Dues are due, send them to carol by etransfer to wanetatrailrotary@gmail.com. It is $120 each for the next six months.
  • We have a gaming account set up for Bingo. There are some restrictions on what we can use the money for.
  • We want to get a picture with the Salvation Army hamper we gave to a family at Christmas. Maddy will organize it.
  • bingo is not making huge money for us yet, but it should generate some income. Juris will report next week on how much we are making. It is still a good initiative as it makes money for other Rotary clubs. Maddy will send out a poster for members to put up around the community.
  • GTRAC meeting will happen soon. Consensus among our members was that we wait until covid is over.
  • PETS is coming up for Juris. It will be online with 4 evenings in February.
  • Rick Calhoun and ex Beaver Valley Rotarian is interested in joining us to see how we do things. Juris will send him the link.
  • Discussion on membership. A list of names was generated of speakers and possible members. Juris will contact Steve Morrissette Fruitvale mayor, Pat will contact Scott Wetherford of Atco, and Ali Grieve area A director, Viktor will contact Robb MacHattie past member.
  • After a discussion on projects Pat was appointed to be International projects director.
  • We want to bring in speakers to make our club more vibrant.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
