The meeting was held on zoom with 5 members and one guest, Robb MacHattie, present.

  • Dues are due, send them to carol by etransfer to wanetatrailrotary@gmail.com. It is $120 each for the next six months.
  • Tree project -no news yet – Viktor will follow up.
  • District Assembly – May 6th on zoom
  • Peace conference Saturday February 4th free on zoom
  • We have a gaming account set up for Bingo. There are some restrictions on what we can use the money for. Bingo is going well.
  • We want to get a picture with the Salvation Army hamper we gave to a family at Christmas. Maddy will organize it.
  • Program – Past member Robb MacHattie
  • Robb is living in Nanaimo now. They moved there to be closer to children and grandchildren. Nanaimo is wet and they don’t get a lot of sun in winter. He misses snow and back country skiing. He has purchased roller skis. These are less forgiving when you fall. He now has 6 grandchildren, two nearby in his bubble. Charlotte is enjoying lockdown. she lives part of the week with her sister Emily. Robb is going to try salmon fishing. He misses the kootenays but is nearer to family.
  • Next week Steve Morissette, the mayor of Fruitvale will speak to us.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
