• Tree project -no news yet – Viktor will touch base with Karen.
• Peace conference Saturday February 4th free on zoom
• It was suggested we donate happy and sad bucks to the foundation as a club. To be discussed at a later date.
• Reminder that we have a dinner social Sunday February 7th at 5.30pm. The idea is to chat over dinner. Maddy will send out the link.
• Juris will see if we can get someone from Susie’s sewing project on zoom for a presentation.
• Pat suggested we get involved with the community garden in Fruitvale eg put in water for them. He will contact the village.
• We need projects to make us visible in the community.
• Invite Ali Grieve to a meeting, Maddy to do.
• Discussion on possible socials – night skiing at Champion lakes.
• Program – AG Maddy presented Area report
• She recently held an Area meeting attended by all 6 Presidents, 2 President elects and Linda Bauer DGN.
• District assembly/District conference is one day in April on zoom. details will be out shortly.
• Feb 26th is an 80’s music celebration -final part of pets open to all Rotarians. link in sidebar.
• Look for an area social once we are able to meet in person in the summer.
• Upcoming meetings
• Feb 12th Thomas Profant – past youth exchange student. Invite Trail and Rossland members who may know him.
• Feb 26th Luke Vorstermans on the Roll-a-hippo project
