• Business:
• Juris left a message for Diana Gonzalez to come and talk to us.
• Maddy talked to BV library. The Friends of the library has charitable status and we could channel bingo money through them for a library project supporting seniors. Marie the librarian will organize someone to come and talk to us.
• Juris will set up a meeting with Carol to discuss finances.
• Maddy had an email from Steve Morrisette asking us how much we would be able to give to the community garden. Juris will reply.
• Pat donated soil to the community garden.
• Discussion on people to invite to our meeting to speak to us and/or as prospective members.
• Juris will contact BC lotteries to see who we can donate to.
• We have to decide who to donate to and if they are eligible or is there a group we can funnel money through.
• discussion on bingo. It will be moving from golden to Castlegar next week.
• Juris will talk to Viktor about the trees and a possible date.
• Pat told a story of a project he was involved in in Sierra Leon while he was with Beaver Valley Rotary.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
