• Saturday June 5th is the day set to plant trees. Karen is coming from Victoria. We need at least 6 people. bring shovels, gloves, water and wear sturdy shoes. We will plant in the morning (time to be decided), have lunch and then have a tour of Fort Shephard. Invite friends and former Rotarians. Clarification needed on what we do for lunch and timing. People to invite past members John and Rob, Rossland Rotary, Diana, and Theresa. Juris will contact Viktor to get more details.
• Fruitvale community Gardens, we do not yet have clarification of their charitable status.
• Elizabeth Cytra is retiring from Rotary. Trail Rotary is having a lunch to honour her. Juris will say a few words on our behalf.
• District conference awards evening is Thursday June 10th. It is free but registration needed.
• Lynn wants to know what we want for a Governor visit and if we want one. We do. When the border opens we will invite her here.
• Discussion on meeting schedule. We currently have no speakers. Do we want to return to the church if and when it is possible? We could consider it as a hybrid meeting location.
• Do we cancel July 2nd meeting? it is the day after Canada day so we will play it by ear.
