The meeting was held on zoom with 4 members present.

  • Business:
  • Tomorrow, Saturday June 5th is the day set to plant trees. Karen is coming from Victoria. We have 5 people. bring shovels, gloves, water and wear sturdy shoes. Meet at the entrance at 9am. Lunch is provided.
  • Fruitvale community Gardens, we do not yet have clarification of their charitable status. they have an open house Saturday 10th in the afternoon.
  • Roll-a-hippo donation done.
  • District conference awards evening is Thursday June 10th. It is free but registration needed.
  • Discussion on DEI after 215 graves found in Kamloops at the sight of a residential school run by the Roman catholic church. We felt that we need educating about Indigenous issues. See if we can find a speaker to answer some of our questions.

  • Saturday June 5th Tree planting- time to be decided.
  • Thursday June 10th district Conference awards night.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
