• Business:
• Bill Furey is asking for donations toward Camp Koolaree for a new propane fridge to replace on destroyed by a bear. We can use Bingo money. Motion by Graham seconded by Maddy that we give $1000 to Camp Koolaree. passed
• RI and District dues have been paid. We got a one off rebate from the district because of the money they saved during covid.
• We need someone to be President after Juris for the year 2022/23.
• Social; Pat volunteered to host a social on Friday 13th August at his home. Maddy will send out details. He will provide meat and potatoes. Invite guests and bring a cold pot luck dish. He will demonstrate how to make beaver tails.
• Pat suggested we recruit local nurses, doctors and dentists to go on international projects. First we need to find out what opportunities there are available.
• Trail Market- possibly August 21st. We need a tent and brochures.
• discussion on Beaver Valley Food bank that is looking for a new home in March of 2022.
• We will still meet next Friday morning despite the social in the evening.
• Next year’s district Conference will be in Colville, May 12 to 15th 2022.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
