• Business:
• Next week, 24th Lynn will do her official visit as DG at our regular meeting at 7.15am.
• Discussion on the beaver valley food bank. Is there something we could do an express grant for with them? Maddy will find out if what they need. Perhaps in conjunction with a food drive.
• Other ideas for the express grant – more plants for Fort Shepherd. Perhaps ask Teck to match it since it was their land.
• Pat suggested we have a vision session for the club.
• bingo – Maddy and Graham will attend more training for bingo tonight. Trail/Rossland/Waneta have been asked to provide a team of 6 to 7 people every 6 weeks to help run bingo.
• Maddy will pick up checks from Castlegar for Trail/Rossland/Fruitvale area winners on Mondays and distribute them.
• No word yet from BV library and communities in Bloom about gaming accounts.
• Peace conference – Oct 16th on zoom. details to come soon.
• Fall assembly Oct 23rd zoom only. It will focus on the Foundation.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
