- Rossland Rotary is doing a thanksgiving food drive on Saturday October 9th They have suggested we do one at the same time in Fruitvale or at the Mall. Maddy will contact Liberty foods.
- Bingo – Juris presented a check to a bingo winner. Maddy will drive to Castlegar each week to pick up any checks for Trail or Fruitvale and leave Trail checks at Cam’s office for them to pick up.
- What can we use an express grant for. Suggestions included more tree planting, helping kids play sports in some way.
- What projects do we want to do? rotaplast, rotary medical missions, more with Susie’s sewing project.
- What Christmas project do we want to do this year? day passes at ski hill for kids, ski passes for Crowe, salvation army family. care program (RCMP for troubled kids to ski) jump start (Canadian Tire). Elementary school ski days.
- Ask Jump start to speak to us
- Ask schools what their needs are. We want to do hands on if possible.
- Do any past Beaver Valley members have any signage stored? Pat will investigate.
- Peace conference – Oct 16th on zoom. details to come soon.
- Fall assembly Oct 23rd zoom only. It will focus on the Foundation.
- Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
