• Business:
• Food drive last Saturday was a success. Melva from the Food bank thanked us for doing it. We collected 55 bags premade by Liberty plus the same again in purchased food plus $740 in cash.
• We tentatively set a date for doing it again at Easter next year probably April 9th 2022. Discussion on whether we do Food bank day in December. Liberty already has the bags made up.
• Bingo – We have an observation/learning day October 22nd in preparation for us running it on 29th.
• Juris has given out three cheques to bingo winners.
• We need to recertify for Bingo. We have some questions to answer from our application.
• Christmas brunch social set for December 4th time and place to be decided.
• Christmas project- do we want to sponsor a family through the Salvation Army? Buy snowsuits for school kids?
• Fortis does a coat drive. We can volunteer to help them
• Express grant – Juris is working on filling in the form.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
