• Business
• Assistant Governor Maddy presented the club with a foundation award for the 2020/21 year. We were number one club in the district for per capita Annual fund giving to the Rotary foundation. This was because one member became a major donor.
• Bingo -goes tonight and then NYEve. Maddy has donations from Fruitvale businesses to make up a gift basket
• Please send dues to Carol. Via etransfer to wanetatrailrotary@gmail.com. It is $120 for the next 6 months
• Motion- proposed by Maddy seconded by graham that we donate gaming money to TACL for their van. The actual amount to be determined when we know what we can afford. carried. We will wait to get a financial report from Carol before we finalize the amount.
• Pat and Graham went to the Miner’s Hall in Rossland to sell raffle tickets in support of the food bank.
• Pat and Maddy helped wrap gifts for Beaver Valley Food bank
• Maddy, Joan and David will help assemble the hampers friday.
• DG Lynn sent and email from the Green Team encouraging us to check our carbon footprint and then make changes to try and reduce it.
• PETS is currently happening with virtual seminars in January and in person in Seattle in February. This could change.

• Discussion – Should we be saying Happy Christmas or Happy Holidays?
• It would be politically correct and encourage diversity to use happy holidays. Who is upset by the use of Happy Christmas? we need to respect every holiday when its time comes. We do not always know what people’s personal beliefs are. Each holiday should be acknowledged. Try to reflect the person’s beliefs in how you interact at the holidays.
• No more meetings this year.
• Next meeting January 7th 2022. Look for a new link from Maddy.
