- Business
- Webster school ski day cancelled we will hear what they are doing instead and we may have to check whether we can use the express grant for it.
- Bingo -Maddy presented Rhonda Hill with her basket from New Year’s eve. the photo is on our facebook page.
- bingo – betty white is being honoured on the week of January 21st. A donation to the SPCA is suggested. this will come off the top before we get paid. Either $5000 or $10000 from all the clubs. The SPCA is registered to receive gaming money. we voted for $5000
- Do we want to support SS Moyie from bingo money? We need to know how much we have and how much we have promised. We need a financial statement.
- PETS is currently happening virtually in February as well as the core classes in January. Pat has been attending. Pat got his refund from his registration. He is enjoying the sessions but finds no time for discussion. Discussion sessions are coming in February.
- Joan returned from Minneapolis from visiting her family and had a good time. Difficulty getting covid tests to return home. Discussion on the testing and situation.

People care more about what their friends think than what some authority is telling them. …behaviour change is the bread and butter of public health.” Discussion that in fact mandates for vaccines have been shown to work. Fining people does help.
- Pat suggested making adirondack chairs as a fundraiser. He can get the local wood cut and dried and then we would make them and either auction them or get a gaming license and raffle them off. He has lots of wood. We could have work parties to make them. He has a pattern for the chairs. find partners to help. Raise $1000 per chair. Many different jobs, some straightforward such as varnishing and sanding.
- Next week Joan will do an outline plan for making the chairs.
