- Business
- Letter from KBRHF thanking us for our donation to the respiratory fund.
- No news yet on Webster winter wonderland. Pat will chase them up. If this does not happen we will look at doing the trees at Fort Shepherd again. Juris will look into this
- Bingo. We are back to in helping in-person. Our date to provide 3 people is March 11th. Joan, Maddy and Juris will go. Graham is also available. Juris signed a new contract. Juris will present a cheque to TACL. We need to decide who we give money to.
- PETS – last session tonight. Pat looking forward to it finishing. wants to do a club assessment and find what activities we all want to do and plan a social.
- Friday lunch 11th March. 1pm place to be determined. skip morning meeting
- Juris met with carol and signed some cheques. They will try to sort out the bingo deposits.
- Grant training available sat February 26th online. Maddy will be attending.
- No date yet for the food bank at liberty – likely April 9th.
- Camp Koolaree. Discussion on how secure the investment would be. They need $140,000. It is not necessarily welcoming to all religious denominations. The price does not cover costs. All kids are subsidized. They ask for donations for costs of running the camp.
- Motion proposed by Pat seconded by graham that we give $1000 to camp Koolaree. After much discussion the motion was defeated.
- We need to have good criteria for what groups we support. Joan will research what Rotary has.
- Adirondack chair project.
- Road clean April 2nd. Meet at Tim’s at 8.30am
- Next week Maddy will give a presentation on Diversity Equity and Inclusion from the DEI task force.
- Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
