• Business
• Saturday November 5th District fall training in Spokane valley 10 to 3pm. We need to have people trained if we want to apply for a grant. We have four of us going. We can do it in a day. Meet at Pat’s at 6.30am to go through Patterson.
• October 24th was World polio day. we raised over $500 selling beaver tails. Pat thanked everyone for their work. BV tool rental donated the cost of the tent. Approx expenses to make them was $50. Good PR. We will get more efficient next time. Kids were free. We gave away to other vendors which was appreciated. We all need to learn how to do it.
• Bingo is currently scheduled to finish at the end of the year. an exemption for us to get electronic delivery of cards is stopping. Last game dec 30th. An article in the Trail Times highlighted this.
• The Land conservancy who oversees Fort Shepherd, may qualify for bingo money.
• We need a fundraiser to be able to donate to overseas projects.
• Road clean up postponed for now. Possibly on Saturday November 13th if the weather co-operates.
• wood for chairs may be cut up soon.
• November 4th in person meeting at subway in Fruitvale at 8am. Speaker April Hugget to talk about a non-profit she started to help the people of Ukraine.
• November 18th Mandi Lunan speaker. Will talk about the Teen Chef program.
• We have some tee shirts left over from the Red roofs duathlon. We can sell them to members.
• Juris and Maddy will be honoured as Major donors at the fall assembly.
• Corporate membership. Pat would like to explore this. Offer this to small businesses. Maddy will look into this with Doreen Kelsey the district Membership chair. set up some guidelines. Family memberships too.
• happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
