The meeting was held on zoom at 7.15am with 5 members present and guest Anelda Van Staden. Regrets from Gordon.

  • Maddy sent in the report on the foodbank shopping for the express grant.
  • We still have bingo money we could spend.
  • Maddy let Mandi Lunan know they are getting a cheque and we will organize a picture opportunity. Maddy will send her a form to fill in so we have a trail.
  • Do we want to do the Trail youth centre cooking program again? We got an email from Geoff inviting us to start again. Yes Maddy will let them know and see what day will work and what form it will take.
  • We need a fundraiser now that bingo has stopped.
  • The value of PETS training and attendance was discussed.
  • Explanation of Rotary for Anelda.
  • Rotary dues bill came. Juris will pay it.
  • The Rotary magazine is available online instead of in print. You have to request it through the RI website.
  • Next week January 27th Gordon will give us his classification talk to introduce himself to us. (postponed from today)
  • Feb 3rd in person meeting at Pat’s to make Beaver Tails.
  • Feb 11th is the Fruitvale winter carnival where we will make beaver tails and serve hot chocolate by donation.
  • First Road clean up Saturday 15th April. Juris will let other clubs know.
  • Easter Food drive Saturday 1st April at Liberty foods.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. Meeting adjourned at 8.15am
