The meeting was held on zoom at 7.15am with 6 members present.

- Business
- Cooking at Trail YAN will start on April 5th with Maddy and Theresa making Rice and lentil tacos. We can put others on the schedule every two weeks.
- We received a thank you card from TACL for the donation toward their van.
- We discussed the funding request from Carol for the BC Senior’s games. Motion by Joan seconded by Gord that we donate $1000 of bingo money in John Lake’s name to be used for cycling events. Passed.
- We still have more gaming money we can give out. Maddy will contact Mary Martin to come and talk to us about the Memory Garden at Columbia View lodge. We need to know it is sustainable.
- Wednesday, April 5th at 11.30 tour of Selkirk Technology Access Centre (STAC) in Glenmerry (formerly known as MIDAS) together with the Trail club. Jan Morton sent details. Let her know what you want to eat from Subway
- Lynn asked us to send a short write-up about our club for the North Columbia Monthly newsletter. Maddy to do this.
- Supplies for Betty and Dan-Joan will buy from member Jay’s pharmacy. Juris will organize a cheque for her.
- Easter Food-drive tomorrow, Saturday 1st April at Liberty foods from 9 to 4pm. Maddy sent out a schedule.
- Juris wrote a letter to Bill Wenman endorsing the plan for Haines park. thank you to everyone who sent him comments.
- Discussion on articles and fundraisers from the Rotary Magazines. Pat enjoyed the article about Jennifer Jones RI President and the Tea Master. In another article, a 67-pound melon was used as a fundraiser.
- Fundraising ideas – duck race, hockey shootout
- Juris will purchase a tent that the club can use for events.
- The Trail Farmer’s Market schedule is out. We will plan to make beaver tails at the music in the park events on July 20th and Aug 17th.
- Apologies from Maddy and Juris who overslept and joined the meeting late.
- Upcoming meetings and events
- STAC tour April 5th.
- April 7th No meeting – Good Friday
- April 14th Colville Rotary members will attend our meeting to talk about their project in Tanzania.
- First Road clean-up Saturday 15th April. Juris will let other clubs know.
- April 29th Spring assembly in Spokane. Pat will drive a few of us down for the day. Registration is now available.
- Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 8.15am
