The meeting was held on Zoom at 7.15am with 5 members present

  • Business
  • Food drive at Liberty Foods on September 30th. invite friends to come and donate food that day.
  • A Foodsafe course at Selkirk College in Trail on October 21st. $125 per person. We need to book. This coincides with tree planting. so we may have to do it online. 5 of us expressed interest. Haven’t heard yet if any students from the YAN want to do it.
  • Next road clean up tentatively set for 14th October .
  • $3500 of Bingo money: Discussion on how to split it up between the 4 groups BV Food Bank, Senior’s Games, Fort Shepherd, and TACL. We will contact each of them to see how much money they want for their project.
  • Tree planting in September at Fort Shepherd tentatively set for October 21st. (coincides with date of foodsafe course)
  • Communities in bloom are not eligible for gaming funds.
  • Maddy attended the opening of the Garden of Gratitude at Columbia View lodge on our behalf. It was a nice ceremony and we have our name on a donor wall.

  • Express grant is not available this Rotary year.
  • Ride for Rotary in India in January. Maddy forwarded the email.
  • September 1st in-person meeting at Bridgeview was a success with six of us present including Viktor and Elizabeth.
  • September 15th regular meeting.
  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 7.45am
