- Business
- Bingo: Still to write cheques for Food Bank, Senior’s games. Still more by the end of the year. Suggested donating to Hospice whatever is left over.
- Beaver Valley Nursery School wants a form for gaming money. Maddy sent it to Pat.
- Opportunities to help: Dec 2nd Breakfast with Santa 9 to 11 in Fruitvale. Set up needs helpers on Dec 1st from 11.30 to 2.30.
- Beaver Valley Christmas hampers assembly Friday Dec 15th morning. Maddy will find out details for gift wrapping.
- Christmas party/lunch. Saturday December 2nd, 12.15 at the Taste of India. we would order ahead of time. Lynn Burch our Assistant Governor may attend.
- Trail Youth Centre: Pat will drop by to see what he can do there in terms of cooking. Theresa and Juris made Pad thai two weeks ago.
- We need a project and we need to fundraiser. Putting a fundraising can at airports or somewhere public.
- Next zoom meeting on December 8th will be a planning meeting for next year’s activities. Also looking at projects and fundraisers.
- Doreen Kelsey our DG sent a request for clubs to join in a project in Bangladesh. we will consider it when we see how much money we have.
- We need a financial report so that we know how much we have to spend.
- December 1st no meeting in lieu of social.
- regular meetings in December 8, 15, 22nd. December 29th cancelled.
- First meeting in 2024 on January 5th in person, place to be advised.
- Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 7.45am
