• Business
• Trail Youth Centre: Maddy and Theresa will cook on February 21st
• Thank You from Fruitvale Elementary school. Pat estimates $60 in expenses for the evening we made Beaver Tails. He will contact the school.
• We need a banner for signage. Add magnets for fixing it to the tent we have.
• Saturday February 10th we will be making beaver tails at Haines Park for the “up to Sno good” event. We did not get into the kitchen yet. Juris hopes to get in today, (Friday) to see where we will be setting up. We are sharing the kitchen with other groups making hot dogs. We will not get revenue as the food is by donation to the Beaver Valley Food bank.
• Maddy will be attending PETS in Seattle the weekend of February 15th to 18th and is happy to buy Rotary apparel for anyone.
• Financial report, next week. We need a budget for club administration.
• Projects – we need to have a fundraiser and to fund a project.
• Dave (a lawyer and 40 year Rotarian) told us about his club in New York with 27 members. We compared notes on projects.
• Update on Rollahippo project https://1000survivalgardens.com/rotaryreportDec2023.pdf They have now delivered 1000 to vulnerable women in South Africa.
• Next meeting February 16th on zoom.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 7.45am
