• Pat received a package with a Paul Harris award for Gord. We will celebrate and present it on April 5th at our in person meeting. we decided to meet at the Terra Nova for lunch at noon.
• Food drive tomorrow March 23rd. Juris 9.30 to set up. 10 Gord, Graham, Joan at noon. Pat at 2.30 with truck to help load at 4pm. Weibing at 4pm, Maddy to fill in where needed and organize people to help load at the foodbank.
• Today last day to get cheaper room rate at Coeur d’Alene resort for the district conference. Early bird registration price ends 31st March.
• The International conference is in Calgary in 2025. consider going to that. Singapore is this year.
• Thank you to Joan for sending our information about volunteer drivers for seniors for medical appointments.
• Pat to contact Jayme fowler re speaking to us about seniors issues locally.
• We received an email from Mayumi van der pol about a project initiated by the peace committee. They want to educate 8 teachers about peace literacy. We had concerns that it should be a school district project rather than aimed at individual teachers. Maddy will contact Mayumi to discuss this.
• Pat will contact May Days to see if we can make beaver tails for the parade.
• Club social Saturday April 13th, Harlamovs place 4pm. Bring a dish to reflect your heritage. Invite guests.
• March 29th – Good Friday -meeting cancelled.
• April 5th in person at Terra Nova for lunch noon rather than breakfast.
• Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 7.45am
