The meeting was held on Zoom at 7.15am with 5 members present

- Business
- Juris talked to Mike Walker of BV Maydays and they are keen for us to make beavertails May 25th at the parade. Details to follow.
- May 4th Trail Rotary Road clean up, details sent to club members. Meet at 8am at A&W for breakfast or 9am at the Tadanac entrance.
- Maddy donated a bottle of wildflower pink gin from Kootenay West Distilling on behalf of our club for the District online auction. The auction is live until May 4 at the conference.
- Changeover meeting to be a joint meeting with Trail and Rossland at the end of June, date to be decided.
- Trail Rotary are interested in our helping with some projects – Silver City Day parade May 11th included.
- Joan suggested we look at donating to a project in Kenya that distributes sanitary pads to girls.
- Treasurer will provide a financial report in May.
- Tree planting is a possibility at Fort Shepherd and/or Beaver creek Park.
- Discussion on AI and chatgbt. Most useful application for AI is in the medical field.
- May 3rd in person at Bridgeview at 8am.
- Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 8.15am.
