• Changeover meeting was held July 3rd with four of us attending.
• July 12th was an in person meeting at Bridgeview
• Bill Wenman, Fruitvale Village councilor, asked to come and talk to us about village projects. Juris sent information to club members and will organise a date.
• Pat suggested we attend Music in the Park as a group and invite other Rotary clubs to join us. Suggested date August 15th when there is a market.
• Juris and Maddy will be away September 3rd to October 8th.
• Do we want the Thanksgiving food drive thanksgiving weekend, October 12th or the week before 5th when Juris and Maddy are away? Send an email asking for peoples preference and availability
• Program Anelda van Staden President of Beaver Valley Skating club
• They are hosting the West Kootenay invitational skating event and need sponsorship of $20,000 to run it successfully. It brings skaters to the area. she gave us an overview of the budget. Expenses include to bring in judges and ice time. Graham suggested we do a fundraiser in conjunction with them and make beaver tails.
