  • Madeleine contacted Liberty and confirmed with Jackie the 5th of October for the BV Food Bank food drive. Madeleine will pass on the contact details and stuff to Joan’.
  • Reminder: Juris and Maddy will be away September 3rd to October 8th.
  • 20th October is Fall District Assembly is on the 20th in Creston. (19th October, Happy Valley in Spokane)
  • Carol will purchase/donate toward two bicycle racks stored at XL. Gary has tracked them down and Carol will pick up.
  • Madeleine will send the letter of support for the Creek Side Park to Councillor Bill Wenman
  • The in person meeting on 6th September will be at Tim Horton’s

  • Told us about the Kootenay Healthy Living Fair at Waneta Mall on Saturday 5th October, beside the old Zellers inside entrance. 11 am to 4 pm
  • There will be health vendors like physiotherapists, yoga instructors. For more details:

  • The fair is looking for volunteers to help man the odd booth for half, an or so, helps set up prior to the 5th.
  • Unfortunately it falls on the same day as our food drive.

  • These events are supported by the Trail Chamber of Commerce.
