• Business
• Received Land Conservancy magazine, Juris to contact to see if we can do anything.
• Received a flyer from an Idaho Rotary Club on Ideals Literacy Project. Madeleine will send out a copy.
• 20th October is Fall District Assembly is on the 20th in Creston. (19th October, Happy Valley in Spokane)
• Received a request from KBRH for Orthopedic Enhancement project
• Ben Postmus will give a presentation on the Diverse Family Roots group this Friday.
• In person social meeting on 2nd Nov, Madeleine will send out details (But it is up in the air at the moment as DG Lorne and Lynn (Creston) may attend too).
• 7th December Breakfast with Santa. May need help with wrapping presents on the 6th. Note is in an in-person meeting day too.
• Some discussion on sponsoring a family. Madeleine will discuss with Theresa whether the BV food bank can be a conduit.
• YAN cooking is starting up again. Some discussion around whether we can do social with the youth (bowling, lunch etc) Madeleine will contact.
• Food Bank review: Sandwich board was provided by Food Bank, there was a new box for the food donations, the customer count was low the day of the drive, and a thank you card for Mariann (Madeleine).
• Invite Volodia to give a talk on Ukraine (Joan)
• Christmas social … tentatively 13 December at the Kootenay Kebab.
