• We need a President Elect to follow Gord as President for 2026/27.
• We watched a video on polio delivery in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
• Discussion followed on vaccines in general. The resurgence of measles in Canada and Uk.
• Juris will send a cheque for the peruvian water project to the Castlegar club.
• We will plan to attend another market in the spring to attract members.
• Christmas lunch will be on December 13th at Kootenay Kebab. We will do our book exchange.
• Joan suggested we make a donation to The Beaver Valley Food Bank.
• There is an opportunity to volunteer on behalf of the Food bank at Liberty foods in November to promote their new bag program. Maddy will get more details.
• November 7th in person at Bridgeview at 7.45am
• Social to be discussed at the next meeting
