- Trail Rotary invited us to a speaker Patrick Killian next wednesday on zoom at noon. Maddy will send out the link.
- Three of our members helped with Trail Road clean up last week.
- invited to pay for Rossland youth exchange student outdoor education $750. We decided not right now.
- We have our name on the Hospital Foundation donor wall now.
- Nov 28th habitat for Humanity talking at Rossland on November 28th. 6.15 at the rock cut.
- Fiona has stepped down as AG. Doreen has stepped in. Doreen is also stepping in as DGE to replace Kimber Gates who has stepped down for family reasons.
- Bingo is currently scheduled to finish at the end of the year. an exemption for us to get electronic delivery of cards is stopping. Last game dec 30th.
- We will sponsor a family through the Good stuff adopt a family program. Maddy will organise.
- Pat when will the wood for chairs get cut up?
- Maddy has contacted Van Helmond about Tee shirts and a tablecloth. No reply as yet.
- Christmas party Saturday November 26th at Harlamovs. Book exchange and pot luck. at 5pm
- Program Mandi Lunan
- She was a former bakery owner in Ottawa. Began consulting on running food-based businesses. Moved to Warfield sight unseen in 2015. Been working with the Agricultural advisors. Started Kootenay Teen club. Teach Food safe, food security and more. She is an eldest child so prepared meals for family. Operation Come Home. mandate to stop at risk teens from dropping out. Christmas challenge at Trail market. Financed by CBT, RDKB and Kootenay Savings. In 2021 had 24 spots, this year 33. good involvement. three family teams. great feedback from parents and kids. started during pandemic. facebook and instagram are how they communicate. Teens get a bag when join. tools an apron and staples. They have a wait list of 40 kids. Have a teen ambassador. kootenayteenchef on facebook. farmers market coupons are important to them. She is hoping to get funding for a third year program

Sounds like your club is rolling along with good things, good relationships and things to do. It sounds like Mandi could be a good fit as a member of your club. It breaks my heart that Bingo must cease! I still can’t get any traction on getting anyone to agree to Rotary Magazine article about it.
