  • Business
  • We have the cheque for $2000 to the Memory Garden project. We will organize a photo opportunity with the hospital foundation.
  • Pat and Theresa cooked at Trail YAN. Currently, they have no AC, and only a few people attending. Maddy and Theresa will go on 11th July if the AC is back.
  • More of us need to have Foodsafe so that we do not have to rely on just one person every time we make beaver tails. Pat suggested we could pay for a couple of youths to do the course with us. He will investigate when a course is available.
  • Next road clean up will be July 22nd at 8am. 7.15 for breakfast at Tim’s.
  • Juris will investigate us doing more tree planting in the fall at Fort Shepherd.
  • Carol Currie asked if we might be interested in training offered by the red cross for Naloxone use. Those taking it would be expected to go out and train others.
  • Maddy was elected to be PE for the year (to be President for the year 2024/25). Gord will take over as Secretary.
  • Maddy will investigate if there is space for us to make beaver Tails at one of the Music in the Park Markets.
  • Five of us attended the joint changeover meeting on July 4th. Pat was sworn in for his second year as president.
  • Discussion on Zoom as a platform for us. Do we want to try a different one? Suggested we try Facebook messenger. Maddy will investigate.

  • Happy and sad bucks (not) collected. The meeting adjourned at 8.50am
