• Program:
• Juris introduced Stephen Hill, PE of Trail Rotary, to talk about Oktoberfest. He is on the committee. it is tentatively set for Saturday, October 24th and is jointly between Castlegar, Nelson, and Trail Rotary Clubs. Need volunteers on day plus planning.
• Initial plan to raise money for parks locally. Trail is 125 this year.
• No financial commitment to us. Trail will do initial deposits.
• In future years, it will be a multiday festival in three cities.
• Three sessions in afternoon and evening.
• Next meeting at Lana Rodlie’s house on June 12th, Juris will be the principal contact
• business
• July 22nd, Wednesday at noon, DG Steve Roberge will be at Colander with Trail Rotary
• Changeover meeting on July 5th at Fiona Martin’s house.
• RYLA: Rossland has no candidate. We may have one. To be confirmed.
• We got confirmation of our place at the Trail market on 30th May to do an information booth. Next week we will do last minute planning.
• June 5th in-person meeting at Bridgeview
• Club social on Sunday June 7th at Marsh Creek Park. Invite guests. $1 per person. Has a kitchen.
