• Ignite app: the district is offering it free to all members for a year. Joan suggested we all download it. We can see members, send emails, sync to our calendar, access members’ selfies, access district resources, check our Paul Harris balance, and send membership applications. It is $2 per year per member.
• We watched two short videos: the first was on syncing your calendar to Dacdb, the second on the Ignite app.
• The planning meeting on Saturday was productive. Notes are posted on our website. We are a club devoted to food security. Thank you to Joan, our Membership chair, for chairing it.
• The email to send money to the club is wanetatrailrotary@gmail.com. Automatic deposit is in effect; no security question needed.
• Juris has set up a tentative meeting with Patrick Watson, President of Trail Rotary, to discuss several issues regarding co-operation.
• We will discuss another market day next week.
• Next meeting Friday, August 7th in-person at Bridgeview at 8am
• Social: The weekend of August 21/22 or 28/29th, depending on clear skies. We will be stargazing at Champion Lakes. Erika is organizing it.
